The Keyword Academy Review | Scam?
84The basics of making money online isn't hard to grasp. The hard part is putting everything into a workable, step by step system that anyone with determination and persistence can be successful with.
The Keyword Academy Review - A Scam?:
Unlike a lot of making money
opportunity type reviews where you have a bunch of people write reviews
about products or services they have never even used just so they can
make a quick buck for doing the review, this review will be about my
personal experience with this training course. So yes, I actually went
through the course. How else could I write an honest review about their
product? So whether you searched for the Keyword Academy Scam or review or any other term, what you really want to know is if this program could help make you money. Let's find out.
The Reality
Like many internet marketing programs out there, the Keyword Academy is advertising that they can teach you how to build an internet business online and actually make money from it. If you've ever tried to make money online then you probably know what I mean. The failure rate is so huge it almost makes you wonder why people even bother.
The Truth
Is it actually possible to make decent money online? The short answer is, yes. So if it's possible, how come most people don't? There's two main reasons for this.
1. People get the wrong information.
You'd be surprised how many programs and ebooks that are being sold out there about how to create online income is just flat out wrong. A lot of these people who are selling this stuff are actually making money from, well, selling this stuff. What they do is find some basic information here and there about making money on the internet, stick it together in an ebook or some program, and sell it to the public while claiming that what's written in those ebooks is how they make money online. The truth is that selling those useless information to you is how they really do it.
If you want to know how to tell the fakes from the true authorities, you need to look at how they make their real income. If it's from selling stuff about how to make money, then pass on it but if most of their income is coming from doing the things they actually show you how to do, then it definitely deserves a second look unless all they show you is to rip people off by selling them useless ebooks.
2. People quit way too soon.
This reason accounts for most failures in ANYTHING you can think of, not just building a business online. How many people do you know has ever tried to lose weight by going on some diet and failed? Plenty. How many people have set a goal and failed? Pretty much everyone. What makes the difference between the people who fail and the people who succeed? Two things: Strong desire and strategy.
Strong Desire: If your desire is weak, what do you think will keep you going when you are met with challenges and setbacks? Not much. Think back on all the goals you've attempted and failed to achieve. Chances are, the reason you failed is because your desire for achieving that goal just wasn't strong enough. You may say, "No, I really really really wanted it!" Really?
Let's define "strong" desire. What will you do if you fail to achieve your goal the first time you set out to achieve it? You readjust and try again. What will you do if you failed a second time? Readjust and try again. Now what will you do if you fail a tenth time? 20th? 50th? 500th? How many of you can say that you will readjust and try again?
This my friends, is why most people will never live the life they have been dreaming of. You may say to keep going after 500 failures is just stupid, no one would do that. Don't be so quick to assume. Read the story of Colonel Sanders and Thomas Edison. Each failed well over 500 times but kept readjusting their strategies and kept going. How many of us can say we kept pressing on after just 5 failures?
Strategy: The other reason why people fail is that they are using the wrong strategy. As I stated above, a lot of information being sold on the internet about how to successful build a business that will make you money is wrong. If you are doing the wrong things, no matter how many times you try, you will fail. That's why I kept saying the word "readjust". You want to learn from your mistakes. Figure out what worked and what didn't. As the saying goes, "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity."
The main challenge therefore, is finding the right know-how. You can do this by doing the trial and error method like what I explained above. Basically, know your outcome, take action, find out what's working and what's not, readjust your actions, and take some more action. Keep repeating this process until you reach your goal.
Success
in anything really comes down to those basic steps. How long do you
keep adjusting and taking action? Until you succeed. As you can see,
sometimes this can take a huge amount of time. So what do you do to
speed up the process? Get a mentor/coach.This can be anyone, not
necessarily someone you pay. You see, the best in the world at what
they do all use the strategy of modeling other successful people who
have already accomplished what they want to accomplish.
If you are able to find someone who has already gone down the path you are going down, they will be able to help you save YEARS off your journey. Instead of going through the trial and errors yourself, you can use the knowlegdge they have gained through their failures to reach your goals faster.
Power of Modeling
If you've ever read the story of a man who started a discount store, you will know the power of modeling. When this busines man started out in his industry, he had a ton of competition. In order to even survive in his industry, you had to be a big player. So instead of trying to come up with ways to try to beat them, he modeled the way those big players ran their business. He would go to their stores and take notes on how everything was operated. Fast forward a few decades and from this strategy, Sam Walton, the owner of Walmart, grew his discount store into one of the biggest company in the world, completely dominating his industry.
Checklist
Going back...
Okay, let's get back to the Keyword Academy review. Sorry for the long ramble. The point of telling you all of that is so you can better distinguish a good program from a bad one and once you find a good one, what you can do to ensure that you succeed.
Their Program
So what does the Keyword Academy offer? They give you a step by step tutorial on how to make money with a website through a series of videos. It covers everything you need to know from choosing the topics that will actually make you money to the strategies you need to implement in order to bring your website enough traffic to make money. All it really comes down to is those two things. Finding the right niche to build a website around and driving targeted traffic to the site.
Is this really anything you can't find on the internet for free? Not really. But as I stated earlier, there is a lot of wrong information out there and if you spend your time doing the wrong things, you will never get the results you are after. The guys running this training course are some of the best in the industry and they make most of their money by doing exactly what they show you to do.
My review of the Keyword Academy will be based on the following criterias that will hit all the points I made earlier.
Criteria
Are they doing what they teach (authority):
They make most of their money from doing what is taught in the programs. This is a huge plus as I stated before. Too many people make money selling people stuff about making money. That just doesn't make sense.
Easy to follow structure:
Many programs out there have great material but the structure stinks. They can give you all the right information but if they don't tell you exactly what to do in what order, it makes it a lot harder. It's like a recipe. You can have all the right ingredients but until you know what order to use them, you will not get the same end result. This program gives you the ingredients AND the step by step recipe.
Power of Support
Support/Mentor:
No matter how good a training course is, there will always be questions since everyone's situation is a little bit different. So they have 3 support structures.
1. Forum - This is standard. You can post your questions and other members or the trainers will answer your question.
2. Webinars - They have ongoing training scheduled every other week where you can also get some of your questions answered.
3. Weekly 1-on-1: This is by far the biggest surprise to me. They actually let you call in every week during a certain time to get personalized help. Almost every program I've come across that has some coaching call option will cost an additional amount of money. Most just do it through email. With the Keyword Academy, you can talk to them on the phone at no extra cost. This is a HUGE plus.
4. Tools - They have various tools that are part of the program which will help speed things up. A big plus. These tools alone is worth the price.
Update: They have discontinued the 1 on 1 sessions since they now have so many students. Instead, they have implemented a weekly Q&A session where you can get your questions answered.
Cost/Risk:
Okay, so with any program, no matter how good it is, the price has to make sense to you. If you don't have the money, don't do it. Fortunately, you can get access to the full course for the first month for FREE. This is just insane in my opinion because who's to stop anyone from spending a dollar to learn everything and then canceling after the month is up?
So after the month is up, there will be a monthly subscription of just $33. So that comes out to be about $1.10 a day. So why are people staying in the program even after the month is up? The support and tools.
As I stated before, learning directly from someone who has already achieved what you want to achieve in invaluable. It will save you a ton of time.
Bottom-line
This program has all the right combination of what I mentioned above so I highly recommend it, however, there is one thing that I don't like about the program. That is, the 1st month is FREE. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to pay nothing to learn all this stuff, but realize that because it's free, there will be a lot of "get-rich-quick" minded people signing up for this program. Because of this, I know that many of them will quit way too soon and will probably call this program a scam. This is probably prevent people in the future from joining such a great program.
Take the examples of the people I've mentioned above and go into this thing with that kind of mentality. Nothing in life that is worthwhile will come easy. Although this training course is great, it does take a lot of work to achieve the results you'll be looking for. If you can do what it takes, if you want your goal bad enough, if you will stand up even after falling 100 times, then I have no doubt that you will succeed.
Here is the link to sign up for the program. Obviously, I'm an affiliate because I see the value in this training program. If you found something this valuable, you'll want to share it will other as well. Nothing to think about since the 1st month is free. Think about where you will be a year from today if you keep doing the same thing you've been doing up to this point. It's time to make a change.
And that sums my Keyword Academy Review.

Thanks for the review. Good read and your right about having to go all the in what you do no matter what it is. Ill be giving the keyword academy a go in the next few months and I look forward to been able to write my own review.
I signed up for TKA this week and have been watching the videos and reading. I have the Niche Refinery working right now, it should be about done. The program looks legit, I'm actually quite impressed! Even though this first month is free and I'll learn a lot, I still want to continue for the updates and support.
Good information here. I am a member of the Keyword Academy as well. I joined 2 weeks ago. I believe what you mentioned as making money on the net takes time and the right strategy. TKA fortunately is providing that. Right now the site is facing some server problems but that should soon be solved
Since I joined the keyword academy have not been able to get into the membership areas of the site. Keeps telling me that I am trying to access a protected page. Anyone else have this problem?
Can anyone give me an idea of how much money you are making in month 2, 3 or 4 please? I dont mind the work, but wondering what the payoff is in a few months-thanks!
Man you are good! A good affiliate marketer at best. Your review comes across as if you're just a third party outsider giving your honest opinion but lord knows that's the currency of today's Affiliate Marketers, writing reviews with pros and cons and pitching in the Negative Closing style. From a pro Internet marketer (myself) it's clear your out to make a buck off the program from your review and the traffic you receive off Google but you did a good job so you deserve it.
It comes off amateur and non-scripted so naturally it offers Social proof which is the key to selling on the net.
Good job my man, good job!
TKA IS A SCAM. There forums are nasty, there program has been changed twice now. There is nothing in this program that is going to make you money.
I'am actually planning to get into TKA but just curious how much you need to spend for the first few months? just an estimate so I can budget my salary.. tnx
First and foremost I want to see if I can actually post a comment! Should this be evident in the near future I will be that much more interested in TKA. I am not a member of TKA and I am currently in a financial struggle... With time though that will improve and I should be able to afford hosting and picking up Domain names. I enjoy writing and sharing my opinion (because I am an over the top know it all!), and I enjoy the Internet. I must admit I spend countless hours on websites dedicated to humor, simply because I get paid in the form of attention from others and little green thumbs if my content is funny! However I realize I have also been paid in another way... Learning to enjoy the Internet as a form of social appreciation. Should TKA turn out to be the source that it sounds like, I may just have to switch my hobby into a method that pays me in attention from others and little green dollar bills!
So here's to commencing the first step!
In 3... 2... 1...
POST!
is there a point in your business where you can feel safe enough to break away from The Keyword Academy's fees and manage your own business with good profit?
you say the start up costs over the first 3 months are approx $136 - $176, what is the likely return during this time period?
I'm still a skeptic
So what do u actually do? Write the code for the page? make links to other pages that sell books? Or do u pick what to sell?
Hi kaizen. I have read over the website of TKA. I don't currently have a website; however I did attempt to start a blogging site in the past and it didn't quite work out for me. Not to mention I can no longer use Adsense with my google account because it was disabled by google due to misuse. I just honestly wonder if I'm going to do anything with TKA being that one of the most lucrative outlets to use will be of no use to me (Adsense).
I have not attempted to sign up for the free trial just yet because I just found out about TKA in the past 12 hours and I need to pray and think seriously about it before I decide to do so.
I'm not really sure what I'm asking here. I'll give it some more thought, but please respond when you can. Thanks.
Hi Kaizen,
I am interested in signing-up with TKA and giving it a real go... I have a question regarding Brandyn’s question (So what do u actually do?) just to follow-up so I understand correctly. Please allow me to use the following scenario seeing this is the line of work that I’m in. Being a fitness & Nutritional Professional if I build an affiliate web-site doing a review on a great sports supplement or several different ones and they leave my site and go on to purchase that product from another web-site would I receive a commission for that sale? Is that how it works? or am I off in left field somewhere?
TKA isn't really a scam but all the info is completely outdated. They still talk about blogroll exchanges in their ebook. Most of the seasoned IMers have already left the forums and if you speak your mind and it goes against their happy go lucky attitudes they will ban you on the spot, no email no refund, no nothing. Not worth it. You can sign up for the free month and get all the outdated info they have to offer in about an hour.

I think the best bit of TKA is the easy to follow step by step guide. It's a lot of work and I'm just starting on my road, but hope to get there in the end! Cheers, Chloe
